We will have a bit more coverage once all the photographers get their editing done, but for now enjoy this shot of JJ Mendonca killing the bank by Evolize Photo. JJ won the fastest drift mini game with a crazy bank to bank run. With his win he won a prize package from Sumaru Auto repair good for 10 tire changes and an oil change!
Over this past season we have seen some crazy growth from our pro-am drivers, Sunday was amazing to watch just how good these guys have become!
Our top three looked like this:
-1st Place for $500: Devin Horsley
-2nd Place for $300: Cody Duthie
-3rd Place for $150: Jack Connelly
Most Improved went to Rob Viszlai, he won a Dyno certificate from RCTS!
The Team Tandem winners were Team Drift Farm, Jesse Widney won a $200 gift certificate to Tunerworks curtsy of Beyond.ca, and Kurtis Goat won a gift basket from Revwerks!
Kurtis Goat also won the Big Smoke competition in his teammate Colin Reeves' car, he also won a Dyno certificate from RCTS.
Last but not least, the GONZO award, this went to the craziest driver out there, unfortunately Shawn Hawley found out just how crazy first hand, but between the insanity on the track and shooting fireworks at unsuspecting drifters he sure earned the title! Congratulations to Matt Haase who won free entry to a future Sunday Funday!
Big props to UrbanX for handling all the tires for the day! They also donated $2/tire to Habitat for Humanity! Thanks also to Sharps Audio Visual for handling all the sound and the BBQ, they managed to raise over $800 for Habitat as well!
Thanks to Redline Performance Specialist for hooking up a bunch of drivers with free tire mounting and t-shirts!
Last but not least, thank you Team Alex Lee Drift. Between doing ride alongs for charity, announcing and judging these guys made this day great!
